Rocks, you dont visit people, you watch them. I myself am surprised mafia did not hit either Scar or rocks last night. A 50% chance at killing a power role are good chances, considering that there is a doctor. Something is fishy.

And yes rocks, since you're already known, you might as well reveal your reports every day. So do tell

Oh, and Sweep for the contradiction aka bandwagoning.

Yessir J@n!

DC1 was my choice (Chose due to his strange inactivity for this mafia game) and he visited no one.

Hey now, I didn't spam. Or, I might of. I watched yesterdays debates with interest, but I really didn't see anything that I felt was worth making a vote for.

I'm not convinced Sweep's hypocrisy is a valid reason to vote him off. It's not a mafia tell. It looks to be like he was just trying to add some more substance to his post, and failed. Considering Rockrocks and Scar both roleclaimed I'm not going to be voting for either of them either.

@Tahu: I'd imagine it's the same reasons for yesterday, when he suggested you bandwagoned rockrocks.

@J@rn0k: Why attempt to kill someone who has a near enough 50% chance to be protected? Especially when you have a pretty much clear shot at EVERY OTHER PLAYER. They took out a strong player. It was a clever move.

Come on now, y'all! This is Sweep's first game. Let's cut him a break, shall we?

As did pretty much everyone until he roleclaimed. I'm not unique in that aspect... I do remember him going after me for not voting for Scar, who was pushing for a vote for Rocks despite his roleclaim, and who roleclaimed himself when bandwagonned upon.

Last game was just unbearable when nobody was able to get a lynch because everyone was so goddamned inactive. Many of those inactives did actually turn out to be mafia.

That said, I'm not convinced by the case against Sweep, and really, there isn't much of a case beyond some supposedly contradictory statements re: Paidea. They don't seem to me to be necessarily inconsistent. It's too early to tell with Sweep's playstyle, but so far he seems to be Top V2.0 - a bandwagonner. Paidea bandwagonning without providing reasons is unusual and goes against his play style; Top bandwagonning is usual. So inasmuch as Sweep identified that Paidea's vote was out of his usual playstyle, that's not a mistaken statement.

Besides, as we've seen from Scar and rockrocks, supposed inconsistencies and mistakes can happen to villagers as well. I'm more wary this time around of committing to a lynch on flimsy evidence.

And no, that isn't going against what I'm going to do next. Which is vote Thyker for being inactive. Sweep has been more active, and he's a newbie so I'm cutting him some slack to get used to the groove of a mafia game. Thyker is an old hand at this game now and I'd like to see much more analysis than his solitary post of voting for Tahu D1 (and given Tahu's mafia track record, that's a fairly innocuous vote, perfectly in keeping with a mafia trying to stay low).

Top and Animal are starting to irritate me with their sarcasm, but in keeping with what I said yesterday, J Assassin for voting based on sarcasm. That, and I want to keep my word.

Where did I do that again? I'm too tired to go and search through the entire topic to find it.

Mostly, it's that I said I would vote you if your posts didn't get more meaningful. Smilies don't do it for me.

This has been a very busy week for me, I've been sick, it's homecoming, classes, homework, play rehearsal, etc. etc. I'm going to ask for an official replacement for me for this game. I hope to be able to join the next game with an increase in activity. Sorry guys. :(

You're saying that calling someone out on voting for someone with no reasoning and then voting for the SAME person with no reasoning isn't contradictory?

Oh well. This wagon is taking off surprisingly fast. Unvote Let's let him at least have a say before we off him? >_>

Meanwhile, J Assassin. Your lack of input combined with an enormous amount of different votes doesn't look good to me.

PBP Analysis (lots of pointless crap ahead, just had to make sure I accounted for every post):

Day 1, J's only posts were obviously D1 spam, first a vote for himself, and then one for Jackstick. Still, neither amounted to more than 10 words.

Day two, he votes Paidea off the bat for his attack on rockrocks. Claims he has a legit reason, which he did, I'll give him that. Next post is a video. Then, some sort of witty vote on me coupled with no reasoning. Corrects Tru on what day it is, yaddy ya.

Finally, he breaks his lessthantenwords streak with a vote on Scar. Keep in mind the post before that was Tweedy calling him out on being quiet. Blames his lack of posting on college... Is it really that time sucking that when you get a chance to post, it's only ten words long? Really? Anyways, the vote on Scar is justified

FOS's Penguin next post, justifies it next post.

That brings us to today. Votes Animal with nothing but a smiley, and then asks for clarification from bluecoat for his vote.

Let's look at this now. 12 posts. 6 votes. That's an awful lot of voting when compared to the amount of input, don't you think? >_>

Because everyone else has made at least five posts (I think), and posts of actual value.
These are likely to be our inactives, and the inactives crippled the village in Mafia 8.
Although, I have to vote Sweep.

I've stated plenty of times why I don't post a lot. Pay attention. :P

In other news, to the guy who said about there not being a vig, you're either right, or they're inactive/staying hidden.

tru

You want more input? Fine. I thought it was self explanatory. I voted Animal because he said that Sweep was a new player, and that we should cut him a break, and yet he still voted for him. The sarcasm was incredibly unnecessary. Yesterday, I voted Paidea because I didn't like his logic, and Top for the same reason.

Also, massive FOS on Top for saying pretty much nothing with that giant post because you summed it up with one sentence: I'm not providing enough useful input. Also, you repeated what Bluecoat said.

Truth be told, I hadn't looked back over Paidea's posts on that day. He was quick to jump on rockrocks, but there wasn't much else to go on besides what he said, and it helped spark some activity. He then later fleshed out his case against rockrocks (while making a strange comment regarding my behaviour to which I responded with a question and he never responded back). As for his case against Scar, again he was early on in the train but I can't fault his reasoning.

So my initial defence of Sweep was a bit off. Paidea was quick to jump on both rockrocks and Scar, but with solid cases. That's different to what you're claiming Sweep did. He didn't say Paidea voted "with no reasoning", but that Paidea was "very quick to jump on", which is not the same thing. Not a great reason for a FoS, granted, but I'd call your attention to my second paragraph of my original defence of Sweep:

Quote:
Besides, as we've seen from Scar and rockrocks, supposed inconsistencies and mistakes can happen to villagers as well. I'm more wary this time around of committing to a lynch on flimsy evidence.

I'm still much more interest in targetting Thyker today. Come on...last game I tried the same continual attack on Jack - and he WAS something not exactly pro-villager. This kind of experienced villager going very quiet is a fairly easy tell. Why is nobody else interested?

Jay is a good alternative, but I'm going to keep on with Thyker to see if anybody else is going to bite.

You make a good point about Sweep, unvote.

Just to clarify, the only reason your for voting Thyker is inactivity?
