Well, statistically speaking, slightly more than a giant suckusaur. A dire one.

The fact that anyone clicks youtube links without knowing what they're in for amuses me.

This length of silence makes me feel uneasy. Day ones are supposed to be a whirlwind of activity.

Personally, I'm all for leaving my vote on Godders. Annoying Youtube video and a distinct lack of vote for Lander contradicting an image is the best I see so far.

Guys... Lander was doing MAFIA STUFF.

MAFIA.
STUFF.

I'm all for pressuring inactives (duh), but I am certain pressuring Tahu will just make him post about how he doesn't see anything to comment on yet. Par for the course.

Other players who have only posted once: Market, Riptide, Aragorn, and Henry. CARE TO CONTRIBUTE? I know there's not much to go on, but any initial suspicions?

Kikori Kid dropped every scumtell in the book in his first post, intentionally. Role hinting, most likely false roleclaiming, and rolefishing. Sure this was done intentionally, but I think it could be a thinly veiled attempt to be able to give a 'I told you so!' at the end of the game. Pride.

I rofl'ed.

I was actually going to place a vote on kikori to start getting the inevitable out of the way...that is, our unavoidable arguing. I've been beaten to the punch.

Sorry, been too busy between schoolwork and the weekend OBT for TERA to even notice the game had started. But yes, I see a lot of the standard Day 1 tomfoolery, which has yet to lead to an advantageous lynch.

It's a reference to a conversation Lander and I had at around the conclusion of the last game. We were discussing the differences in our playstyles, and he coined that term to describe my playstyle; I'm not as aggressive as say, you or Lander etc., but I tend to be very good at figuring out which player's case is more solid and legitimate, and getting others into following suit.

More or less.

So you broke the quote, made an attack based on complete conjecture around a roleclaim, pulled a nice vague possibility of intention scuminess into the reasoning to try (and fail) to cast a reasonable suspicion of Mafia on my name, and top it all off with a confusing description of a leadership play-style that DOESN'T involve leading the followers.

Were it not for having bigger fish to fry, I'd vote for you in a second. I'm still waiting on Lander's likely-equally-feeble attempt at besmirching my name.

I see you have the priorities in your argument straight.

It's Day One. NOBODY has anything to go on. It was to, so to speak 'get the ball rolling', and your defensiveness is certainly showing that to be successful.

You're all about pride in mafia. When you're a pro-town role, it's your ultimate goal to KNOW who the mafia is. Even if you die trying, even if the town doesn't win, as long as you were RIGHT, that's all that's important to you.

The same goes for when you're mafia. You want the answer to have been in front of them the entire time, but to otherwise completely fool the town. A 'confession' in your first post is the perfect way to accomplish this. I can easily see Mafia-you doing this.

Hey, you asked. I don't see what the relevance of that is, it was an inside statement directed at Lander. What's important is that HE understands.

It takes a certain kind of excited or nervous to break BBcode when presenting a case. I daresay that would be the "I'm nervous due to being scummy" kind.

Yet Day One lynches of the Mafia, they exist. Need I remind you?

At least you have that correct. I seek to know who the Mafia is, because once I "know" someone has a red name, it will be hell trying to keep me from bringing that poor schmuck down.
But, no. A Vigilante is a poor claim to make if I were to want to fool the town with any claim, let alone a confession of anything. Guess, what happens if a night passes and there's only one night kill? Suspicion. Two nights with one kill? A dead Kikori. I can assure you, my good man, were I mafia my plan would be to fake-claim Detective at the last possible moment in order to sway the Town behind me to seal their own fate. And I will heartily laugh when saying this costs me the game one day if I end up the real detective, but someone ends up recalling this.

Because the logic of the statement makes little sense. "I don't want to lead the followers" makes you a follower. If at any point you intend to spearhead a decision, even if about breaking others' logic as faulty, it makes you a leader. Just better than some others.
So which is it?
