FINE >:O

IC: Jack looked over and saw a silver haired kid emerge from a black mass and then proceed to walk towards his general direction.

Taking off, Jack flew several dozen feet in the air and then glided down slowly towards the boy.

"hey kid" Jack says from above once close enough.

Right, screw my choice of character. Unless Lander chooses to seriously limit some of these characters, I'm going to have to go searching for someone a lot more powerful than I had planned.

"What kinda bird is...? No. Not a heartless, either."

"Hey, kid." Whatever it was, it was a he. And it seemed to be flying with a weapon stuck in his gut. ... Sure as hell looked like a heartless.

"I'll skip the 'who' and just ask. What are you? And what do you want?"

OOC: Go for your original choice anyway, Tahu. Overpowered characters can be removed, limited, or fought back just as hard. :?:

"name's Jack Noir, and i want to show you..." Jack quickly unsheathed his sword from his gut and swooped at Riku for a powerful stab.

"i want to show you my stabs."

Riku brought back Soul Eater in flash of light, as fast as Jack had unsheathed his weapon from his gut. The thrust was met with a vertical, guarding hold of the weapon, allowing Riku to recoil backward and flip away from Jack to take a fighting stance; free hand out, Keyblade pointing out after it. "Then let me ask this way. Why should I care who you are? You're only in my way."

"that's what i like to hear. i'll have no qualms about killing you then." Jack grinned and held back a laugh. "what's your name kid."

There's "smart thinking," and then there's the fact that my original choice was Mifune from Soul Eater, and I see at least three characters so far who could easily kill him in one hit and one, maybe two, that he would be plain unable to harm. Period. I'm waiting for a straight-up response from Lander as to how much he'll be hitting those characters with the nerf bat. I kind of feel sorry for some people who chose their characters early if Lander doesn't even things out enough.

OOC: Isn't that the guy who can summon like a million swords? How could we kill him in one shot, even discounting the no killing until a certain amount of fighting has passed rule.

VRISKA noticed a strangely familiar man fighting with a silver haired boy. No need to get involved in a conflict that will resolve itself. She then heard someone shouting. Looking down, she saw some creature standing in front of what looked like some sort of spaceship like the adult trolls use! Just by looking at him, she could tell he was a weak minded idiot. Seriously, she can feel how pathetic his will is from up here! She dropped from flight and landed in front of the being.

arachnidsGrip [AG] began trolling Saren [S]

AG: Hey iiiiiiiidiot! What's your deal?

OOC: Because his swords are just swords. No magic, no high-tech stuff, no special powers. I'd feel more secure in using him if there was some sort of terrain, but the way things are, he'd basically be a sitting duck.

IC: Takeshi Ryuu Hayabusa walked graciously in the spring of northern Japan in hopes of visiting his long destroyed Village. Why he wanted to to go there he himself was unsure of. But he felt he needed to revisit the desecrated place. He climbed the steep path to the top then felt sudden change in energy. Everything grew dark as he felt an invisible force pull him into the air and through a dark void in the sky. He became unconscious. Waking what felt like hours later, Takeshi found himself facedown in a barren wasteland. He glanced up and saw he was on top of a dune. Where he was he was unsure, but he knew he needed to find out why he was here and what his purpose was. Takeshi sat down under a dying Giant cactus. He closed his eyes and began collecting his thoughts, and searching for nearby sources of chi.

"What is this place?..." he said under his breath

She woke at the feet of the High Seraph. Around, there was only mist, and only the essence of the world beyond worlds...nothingness and yet, the feeling that there truly was something there. Yet the High Seraph was formless and faceless, without a true shape and without a true existence...and he waited for her to arise.

"You have been a fair warrior, Water Guardian," it said, the voice from the void said, neither male nor female, nor a mix inbetween. "There is still more you must do, however, to bring balance."
Azure blinked, and groaned, stretching out aching muscles, and then suddenly jolted up, as memories of past battles suddenly seared into her mind. There were so many of them...from her own experiences and that of her former lives as well. The girl winced. Every time she was summoned from Earth, the memories of places she had been sent to before came flooding in and numbing her down for some while.

Every time the High Seraph had sensed an imbalance in a world, even a universe, beyond their own, it would call upon one of the Guardians to bring it to order. Azure herself had been sent to the realm of Heartless and Nobodies...and faced the Bahamut once before. She remembered now, but every time she had been taken from those realms and brought back to Earth, she forgot everything she'd learned, all the people whom she had befriended...It was physically as well as emotionally painful to recall all of these things.
After quite a while, Azure stood, a little sore in the body, but refreshed somehow in her mind, as if it were clear of all the clutter and muck she'd been gathering during her life in the world of Earth. Bowing, she turned to face the void, and smiled humbly.

"High Seraph, I'm at your service." Then, suddenly realizing she was being sent off...AGAIN, she blinked and turned, apphauled and enraged. "Wait, you're sending me to fight in ANOTHER realm, unprepared AGAIN, without any knowledge of what the heck I'm going to face! ...AGAIN! You never tell me anything about where I'm going, I have to figure it out all on my own, usually upon almost dying, or facing a deadly situation! I don't really feel like being reborn for the one hundredth and nineteenth time."

Immediately, there was the feeling of falling, and the voice from the void said clearly...
"Get over it girl."

"OOF!"
Impact. Again. Facefirst in dirt and scattered sand. It felt like landing in a sandbox, but she knew that anywhere the Seraph sent her was a place where very little peace was offered. Wiping the grit from her lips, and opening her eyes, she found she was correct in her assumptions.
This place was no picnic, having absolutely nothing to see except miles and miles of empty wasteland. No town, no people, no--

Oh wait, no, there were people. There were fighting people...and it looked as though they weren't just fooling around. Frowning and grumbling, she brushed her white and crimson uniform of the dust and looked to her left. She was almost shoulder-to-shoulder with some kind of ninja guy, who was also looking onward at the scene. Playfully, she nudged his shoulder, hoping he was the friendly type, and chuckled.
"I doubt they're having a tea party over there huh?"

Azure wasn't an idiot though...she was more than wary of close ranged attacks from seemingly harmless people. Dealing with Cactuar and Chocobo Chicks had more than taught her that appearances were worth little to nothing. She was very cautious of both the fighters afar, the sinister shadow from above, and the male beside her...
And she refused to be beaten.

Takeshi suddenly opens his eyes and cuts the to the right. He sees in the distance the flash of crude weaponry. He realizes his purpose, he was sent her to fight. Standing up and turning his head He sees a silver haired male fighting a black blob looking creature in the vast distance. it must be 1000 meters or so away. Takeshi finishes his meditation with a quick Eagle Claw pose and a bow to the general direction of what he "beleives" is his home land.

"May my fallen brothers aid me in this fight", he said. " I Feel a strange presence here. Not one since the night Masaru died. Could this be connected to the Evil That slayed my People? no matter! i will get out of this alive"

Takeshi walks at a Slow and Deliberate pace to the general direction of the fray. Taking his time to absorb in his surroundings and the other mysterious sources of Chi that seem to Spontaneously appear across this wasteland.

"I need to find out what im up against"

Takeshi places his index and middle finger of both hands to his temples. A Flashing effect occurs as his body sidesteps it self into a copy of himself. He then concentrates energy to make a second duplication. All Three Takeshi forms spoke in unison
"There! That should be enough to find out what im facing."

The True Takeshi holds an open palm facing to the left in front of his face then his body disappears. Now walking to the outer boundaries of the silver haired kid's fight watching intently and absorbing his fighting style as Takeshi Form 1 secretively stalks the fight in a closer few out of sight behind a bush waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.
Takeshi Form 2 utilizes what speed isnt taken from him during the splitting to scout the area of the other fighters who seem to be arriving.

I'm not talking about godmodding, just choosing a character on par with other people's. Also, you have your magic dice.
Anyway, I'm going to try; I'll post Mifune later today when i have the time.

"... Riku." With that answered, he tilted forward a tiny bit and pushed off from the ground, sliding at a startlingly rapid pace with his keyblade thrust outward at Jack, returning the favor of showing off a stab.

Takeshi, from the side lines in his Shadow stealth form; watched as Riku and Jack fought each other trading block for block. He glances over at his split form hiding in the shadows of a batch of dead vegetation still waiting for the perfect moment.

Lander, he does have his flaws, while he can do CQC, it's seriously not his strongsuit. Compared to some of the characters that I've seen here, his level of fighting does not compare. If you have a serious problem with it I can tone it down. His personal shield is standard to ME, after it's gone, it's gone. Also, his most powerful attack, the overcharge, does require him to stand still for a considerably large amount of time (5 seconds). He's similar to that character from Star Trek that I fought a while ago in a battlefield, he's extremely strong at range but he really does suck when you get up close, I feel like I should edit that out if you don't mind. I think I made the character more powerful than he really is.
