OOC: To Dwarf:

We're actually alot further than this, 10 or so pages in on my Free Php Forum, aptly named Last Hope Forums. Thanks for the comments, and I hope you continue to read Last Hope as we update it.

IC: Vevis listened to Valish's story with increasing unease. "So... a Docter Shadeheart hm?" He almost laughed. The meaning to it all was just before him but he couldn't grasp it. Without another word, Vevis sat on his chair again and fell asleep immediately.

An ethreal figure hovered through the woods, coming apon another body. "Another victim of his..." The ghost floated into the energy and absorbed it.

Valish chuckled a bit when the boy fell asleep, but got serious again a moment later. "Let me see what is in this city that is still of use after such a long time..." He quietly muttered, as he walked out the door. When he was outside again, he went to the house on the other side of the street. As he looked around he found two small, marble shaped gems lying on a table. "Can these be... the communication devices they used?" He picked one up. "Let me see now..." He spoke in it, and the exact same words came from the other gem not a moment later. These could be very useful... He thought to himself, as he got them off the table and put them in his pocket.

"Yes, we're almost there at last..."

"...It seems so."

"Remember, keep to the objective and don't do a thing that we weren't supposed to do."

"...Of course."

"Okay, be sure to keep it out of sight when we reach our destination, we wouldn't want to ruin the surprise, would we?"

"...Of course not."

"Well, we're there. Lets move in."

"...Very well."

As Valish was looking at the moon from the roof of the building where Vevis slept, he suddenly heard noice from another part in the city. Human voices! He realised in a shock. Valish concentrated on the origin of the sound, and saw a male and a female figure walk in simillar uniforms; shoulder padded robes. So, they seem to have finally found me, it appears... Valish jumped off of the roof, and slowly glided down with the aid of his wings. As he made them appear a cape again, he went into the building again and shook Vevis around. "Vevis, wake up! People have entered the city!" He spoke, as he gave him one of the marble shaped gems. "Communication devices, should we get separated. Now we must go. They must not find us!"

I like the beginning even it was written a year ago, and the rest is coming along nicely.

"Wait, who are these people!?" Vevis said, still drowsy, as he took the gem. He got on the floor, and crawled to a window, and peeked out. "They are coming this way! We can't get out through the front door..." Vevis turned his head around, seeing a doorway into another room. "Follow me, I have an idea." Having no time to look at what was in it, Vevis rushed into the next room, going to the back of the house.

"A back door!" He tried opening it, but it didn't work. Locked, or jammed. "STAND BACK!" A small ball of energy formed in his hands, as he blasted the doorknob, making a bang, but hopefully not too loud. The door opened, and Vevis ran out of the building.

"Ready?"

"Ready."

A bright flash of light filled the room, in which they could see silloutes of two figures. "They are found. Inform the others."

One spoke into a communication device. "They are in the building to your right, making an exit through the back.
