Ah, so THAT'S what you were talking about. I personally like the holes (I mean they're there on purpose after all.) I never would've thought that a few pixels difference would do such a good job of showing motion (like in John's hood and shirt) and layers (like in the outermost edges of Noir's wings) but it turns out I like them.

Just an opinion; and also the reason I had no clue what you were on about last night, hehe.

Hussie has stated at least a couple times, from what I've seen, that he's not sure if he'll be able to do anything awesome for 4/13 this year.

But then again, the updates have been few and far between this last week, while he's probably done with moving by now. So he might've been using this time to try and do something awesome for 4/13.

Would be cool if he manages something but if not then ah well.

The most interesting gift given to us on 4/13, the Christmas of MSPA, was not the very interesting flash, but the reveal of Nepeta. It's been the topic of some debate from hardcore Nepeta fans in denial whether she's alive or not.

Let me start off by saying, I've never been a Nepeta fan and I could care less what happens to her. Despite this, the update has me adamantly believing she's not gone. Dead? Maybe, even definitely, but still around. My argument is twofold:

More and more often we fiend the donation comics from the Secrets page seeping into the MSPA story. Dice-based doomsday device, midnight crew, Warhammer of Zillyhoo, and probably more I can't even remember.



This seems like the purrfect opportunity for another Schrödinger's cat joke, which Andrew cannot seem to resist. And the most obvious way is by making Nepeta both alive AND dead at the same time. Allow me to introduce to you, zombie Nepeta:



I actually imagine her head just has a bunch of flesh missing off of it all terminator style, and that's why she's face-down.

WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY SECOND POINT:

Nobody dies face-down in Homestuck. All the trolls, the guardians, Jthe people going god-tier, dead daves, and even the little chess people die face-up (correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't found EVERY CHESS PERSON, but in the pictures/animations I looked through, this was the case). The black queen doesn't count, since she doesn't leave a body.

The exception? John and Nepeta. And we already know John's not dead for good.

Wow. I rambled on about this longer than I probably should've. I apologize!

EDIT: I just found another person who dies face-down! Dream Jade! And then she's later revived...
