I also read Homestuck first, but with experience in trying to get friends to read it, they generally don't get confused and give up on the silly antics of the first couple acts if they've read Problem Sleuth. PS sets up a lot of the jokes so that they're more engaging and also gets into the action a lot quicker so there's not that long stretch at the beginning where you could easily lose someone.

I'm kind of curious what this means for John, at least.

This obviously isn't the end from him - He's pretty much immortal, and we've already seen him in the future. But the last time he died, he entered the God tiers. And back when all that was going on, I couldn't help but notice that both Vriska and Terezi kept refering to "the God teirs" as a plural, implying that, aftering dying/awakening on your quest bed, your echeladder resets to a new set of levels for the God tiers.

So maybe John will move another tier up due to this?

I was actually pretty impressed with that action stance of John's. Pretty well drawn compared to most of the other artwork, even considering the art in the other flashes not done by Hussie.

Was that stance done by Hussie or no? (guessing not)

If you can pull Rose's stance too, and possibly Jack's (the one where he's standing straight), I would totally make a wallpaper out of it.

Kind of what I wanted to make, but with John and Rose on opposite sides. I also wanted to put a ROUND 1 at the top.

If I could duplicate the explosion's green-stuff-flying-everywhere enough to expand the photo instead of just stretch it, it'd look better as a background. But...

I went ahead and touched up Jaron's version, fixing "holes" in John's clothes, the hammer, the aura around the hammer, and some holes in the wings of Jack.
