Keep in mind I said I wasn't putting forth that effort again, not that I wouldn't still try to win.

Also, why the long, drawn out post here that's mostly about your logic behind why I'm a townie? No one asked for it, I was just making a passive remark, not a request for a novel. Squinting my eyes and looking at this very hard, I'd say it could be one hell of a mafia ploy. You act like the mafia tried to recruit you, apparently respectfully decline, and assume yourself a villager. All the while trying to get close to another villager (an influential one I'd argue).

All that being said, knowing you like I do, it seems doubtful. But that leaves one variable...why come out in public and decline their apparent offer? And then make a followup post outlining why I'm a villager when no one asked for it...(unless you were genuinely mistaken that *I* had asked for it.)

But their requests weren't. I couldn't tell from "Do tell" or "Explain" what they wanted explained. So I decided to elaborate on both that I was given the offer, and why I believe the offer being sent made you a villager.

If you need an explanation why I felt the need to inform the public there's a mafia recruiting agent, keep in mind that means detectives can become utterly useless after a "Villager" comes up.

If you need an explanation why I took an opportunity to use my logic to help try to secure both of us as villagers, I'll be voting for you instead out of pity.

If that doesn't answer your question, you're being too narcissistic about your approach. Just because you didn't ask for an explanation, or just because you didn't want to read it, doesn't mean squat.

Mentos, again on sheer principle. As Paidea himself said, you're being a general nuisance and messing with the dynamic (and, dare I say it, metagame), all as part of a ploy that was wasteful, unnecessary, and downright stupid? Yeah, you're dead.
I find it somewhat...worrying that the mafia have a recruiting role. I hope it's a one-shot deal, or something very limited, or this could be a short game.
Lastly, if Mentos turns out to be legit, Dragon's next.

Both smart enough to take advantage of the WIFOM Kikori is using to "clear" Lander, whilst also using this apparent invitation to roleclaim villager. Sure if he were investigated as mafia he'd find some excuse such as "the invitation left mafia st0ffs" or "I accepted in the end" and still clear his friend.

But yeah, first game back and it seems nothing has changed - Mentos plays like a tool and the sooner he is killed the better :S
