Further, you know better than to come out as the detective without something more substantial than what amounts to absolutely nothing.

Monk Basher for trying to make people roleclaim this early in the game/hunting for power roles. FoS DC1. Both took Tweedy's pretty obvious joke seriously.

Forgetting any past patterns, it was pretty obvious Tweedy was joking. I don't think I'd have to explain how his statement was a joke. Also, Top seemed to be joking around as well, unless you take his claims seriously too.

tbh I agree with Monk.

Tweedy's roleclaim doesn't seem exactly right to me, but at the same time I don't think he's lying entirely.

Really, it feels like he's using a joke to breadcrumb his role. Doctor protection on him wouldn't be too bad of an idea.

Then again, it could easily be an attempt to draw protection away from other players.

I'm not entirely convinced either way with Tweedy, but IGMEOU.

rockrocks is a little too quick to believe Tweedy, and I'm not fond of his FOS on me either for the same reasons as Paid.

Yes, I do. If someone is refusing to vote for someone else (after having FoS'd them) on the grounds that they have not been "proven" a mafioso, I am certainly going to question them what "proves" someone a mafioso.

I have a feeling Tweedy is joking, but he really shouldn't be. There are smarter ways of breadcrumbing as cop.

I've said it countless times throughout my games - if you aren't currently voting someone, there is no point in FoSing when you could just as easily vote. Players who FoS without voting are doing several things for themselves:

1) If a wagon springs up on the player they FoS'd, they can bandwagon safely on the grounds that they previously FoS'd them.
2) If the player they FoS'd turns up innocent upon death/lynch, they are shedding some of the blame that comes with having voted, thus making it more difficult to interpret voting patterns.

It's not pro-town behavior.
