What a despicable tragedy.

Topsummoner lie dead in the town square. Stabbed. Thrice.

What was once a neighborhood of closely knit friends, white picket fences, dog poop free yards, is no more. The mafia are here. They are among you.

Find them. Kill them. Or do you have another option...? The strong survive. The weak perish. And so, the Mayor looked upon his town, helpless. Hoping for nothing more than the preservation of the people. He knew the identities of the thugs, but was paralyzed with fear. Too cowardly to act. There was nothing for him to do other than watch.

Normal mafia rules apply for all intents and purposes. Nine players, five votes to lynch. The day will end if no lynch is reached on Tuesday, April 17th around 2:30AM EST.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As I said, this game is somehow far from normal. Questions may arise. DO NOT HESITATE to PM myself or Top with questions regarding the game if you are unsure about any aspect of it. Do not assume anything. If you have a question, one of us will answer it to the best of our ability if it is appropriate to do so.

Rules:
No communication about the game, out of game, unless you have a role that specifies otherwise.
The mafia win when their numbers are equal to or greater than the good guys.
The village wins when all the mafia are eliminated.
To lynch someone in the day phase takes greater than 50% of the population voting for a single person. (10 people alive takes 6 votes to lynch, 9 people alive takes 5, etc.)
The day phase, unless otherwise specified, lasts three real-life days. (72 hours) I reserve the right to extend this length for any specific reason. The night phase lasts one. (36 hours)
Dead players may not talk to living players until the game ends. Dead players may communicate freely among each other.

Actually, without even being a joke vote, Lander

The first post clearly says "Do not assume anything" and since the odds are highly against anyone actually being lynched first day, there is zero harm that can come from 5 people quickly voting for the host and seeing what happens. If nothing, we can unvote and move on.
