Just typed this up. No editing or anything, a school assignment. The topic is "What I believe In"

I sometimes imagine a field of rolling green hills. The sky is blue with thin clouds and in the distance the sun casts its glow over nature. When I imagine this I am relaxing. Relaxing is something I’m great at. I can sit down and let all my worries flow away as if they were never there. This is a trait that I enjoy at times simply because it keeps me calm throughout the day. However, being able to relax like that isn’t always a good thing. Homework and studying is something that shouldn’t be taken lightly but I do it from time to time. Nostalgia might be a way to describe the feeling I have when imagining that field. I like to think that there is some place in this world where that field is, rolling green hills for miles, perfect grass and no roads with noisy cars. My goal is to find that place sometime in my lifetime. These statements seem random, but I really think that many people have a goal, something that they want to do or visit in their lifetime. So really, what I believe in is finding that something that you desire, and seizing it. For some it might be professional sports, for some, opening their own business. I believe that it is important to take time out of the day in order to relax. Don’t try to think about anything in particular, just let the thoughts flow. Taking time to do this can really relieve stress and worries. I know that for some people this is a terribly difficult exercise. I have friends who are mad or stressed; my parents at times seem very flustered. If everyone would take time to slow down and relax, life wouldn’t go by so fast, so rushed.

Way to integrate yourself back into the forums! This is a strong freewrite, I feel like I know you better by reading it. I can relate, we all have an idea of that certain peaceful place.

Good short story, essay, blurb, whatever it is, it's nice. If you'd like, check out my topic The Official RV Journal in the roleplay and lit society and make entries there. The link is in my sig, and I am lazy. ;)

It's funny you should suggest that to me because I was thinking about posting this there or maybe starting to post there to increase my writing skills but I thought this shouldn't go there... Idk.

I'll start posting there though because I'd like to start formulating ideas for college essays.

yeah, this type of stuff should be over there.

But it's definitely good. I like your more casual style; too many people (including me) write way too stiffly.

When I read what I write back to myself, I feel like it's reaallly choppy, anyone else think it is or is that just me?

It might seem choppy but that's part of the point of an informal freewrite or journal entry. It doesn't hurt the story and I wouldn't call it choppiness rather than a casual tone.
