Well we still approve the posts and topics from legit first users. The real reason for there being so few topics is the activity level. But yeah there would be a whole lot more shady topics about where you can buy oakley sunglasses if we let them roam free.

The restoration effort was that I manage to actually get the forums copied to a new site without breaking anything, which I think was a rousing success. We don't have a home page anymore, so there's nothing to make.

There have been multiple attempts to revitalise RV and turn it into something else. However, each attempt has been thwarted by disagreements, lack of vision and general lack of enthusiasm. However, you also have the flip side of the coin, being that the general population don't actually want anything to change. People yearn for the nostalgia, the familiar, and they don't really want a change in the status quo.

Jaron has done a great job almost single-handedly saving RV from dropping off the web altogether. RV wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him.
