In retrospect, I should've been clearer with things and been more attentive and generally not sucked and I apologize for that. As I've said, I wanted to get mafia back in style, and that's been done rather splendidly so I'm happy enough with the results.

Gotta say that the main thing that killed the town was a lack of activity (surprised surprise).

That's actually what he did the night Tru died, just made a bookkeeping mistake. And to be honest I never really found Monk's role descriptions difficult to understand.

Also, I would reason the mafia still had a fair chance at winning, had Tru simply not been lynched and thus not had the incorrect reveal. At that point it would take all four townies voting in unison to kill him (wouldn't have bussed at that point, we were basically at all or nothing). Sort of a sorry way to win, but given the activity levels, that lynch probably wouldn't have gone through.

glad to see that I was generally correct about most people. although I didn't win, playing as a jester was interesting. I was considering taking a highly aggressive and scumy approach at the beginning, but was fearful of a vig (joat, in this game) and decided playing hunter was my only shot at winning.

in retrospect, I probably should have tried jointing with the mafia since I had clear townies to shoot. oh well.
