To sum this up in one long sentence David Malki!, the Qwantz guy (can't remember his name), and Randall Munroe got together with a bunch of people to write short stories concerning a machine that can predict your mode of death into one book and are trying to sell as many copies as possible in one day. It's illustrated by other webcomic people (I found out through Dr. McNinja) and to be frank, looks awesome.

Does this interest anyone else, or has anyone read this already? I'll probably buy it regardless, just because I like short stories and these writers and sticking-it-to-the-man.

Tomorrow is Machine of Death Day - It only takes a couple hundred sales to be Amazon's #1 Seller for the day, so the main guys on the project (Malki of Wondermark, Ryan North of Dinosaur Comics, and Matt Bennardo (Don't know what he does)) asked everyone to hold off buying it until the 26th so they could be best seller for the day.

I will be buying a copy, in a couple of hours actually.
