I'm actually not from Alaska. I am born and raised in San Diego county in California myself... It's actually been a very mild winter this year, only having snowed once, and the temperature only going below 20 maybe once so far (37F right now.) Southeast Alaska is pretty comfy compared to anywhere else in the state.
