It also got me thinking about this Forum and how it's really the only online community where I was an active member for some time. In a lot of ways I grew up with both RuneScape and RuneVillage and looking back it's hard not to get a little nostalgic.
The nostalgia is damn near unbearable. I was active on here for years, and I spent more time in the chat than I'd care to admit. It's really sad to see that everyone has grown up and moved on, leaving behind a nearly empty village.
I miss those days sometimes. I miss them a lot.

Today was the 1-year anniversary of when I started playing Clash of Clans, and reflecting on the game caused me to think a lot about the first online game to really capture some magic for me, RuneScape. I logged into RS for the first time in years, and it's crazy how empty the game is now and how much everything has changed.
It also got me thinking about this Forum and how it's really the only online community where I was an active member for some time. In a lot of ways I grew up with both RuneScape and RuneVillage and looking back it's hard not to get a little nostalgic.
I'm not sure if anyone remembers me or how many people from way back are still active, but I really hope everyone is doing well
. I just graduated college last April and I'm working a job in a new city, trying to pay off student loans and do the whole life thing. It's amazing how fast time goes by and even more amazing are the experiences had along the way. This place will always be really special to me!So, how is everyone?
PS: Excaliver888, if/when you ever see this, I remember we had great times playing back in the day. I wish you the best in whatever you're doing these days!
