I understand that people still enjoy runescape, but for me skilling was really not exciting, and I am sure this is shown in my appalling attempt at a main, and low skill set on Magepk. Further evidence is the fact that after making many millions and even buying the alchs for 94 mage, i still potted to 94 as I couldn't be bothered getting the levels. As a result, no dueling, not even tournaments (no one plays them) and the ongoing PK updates really haven't made it fun and after several attempts to come back, I have really only played for a week max before quitting again. I am sure this is compounded by the fact many of my old rs friends (especially my brother) no longer play either, means it is boring and lonely whenever I log back on

Ah well, we all move on I guess. Maybe one day I will try again and find I enjoy the RS of today and stay for a while

For now I shall just try and stay more active here at RV.

Congrats on the 6 years, has you been playing RDR? I keeps mispelling words ever since i've played it.

Edit: I think you're wrong on everything in your second post, no offence man but i'm sure you can certainly still enjoy the game like you did when you last enjoyed it.

Heya, congrats on 6 years!

Good to see you logging into Runescape every now and again. It is certainly hard to rekindle interest when you have been gone for so long.

It's even harder when the people that made it so fun no longer play.

We shall see, I would love to stay active, but my absence from RS makes it hard to participate in RS related discussion, I tried coming back for a week when I was really bored, went DKs like 4 times and then got bored of RS.

I personally believe that Jagex have lost focus on the community, and started focusing on money, pumping out update after update, I now find that I cannot keep up with the game and it's forever changing landscape. Everything is so expensive, but getting money is now a lot of luck and the things I loved (PKing, friends) have now been taken out, so I cannot really forsee a return to RS for me in the future.

Sorry for the rant
But I shall endeavour to stick around RV a bit more!
