in spite of a rough edge or two, you're not a bad user-- you're still a valued part of the Village as you can see from the replies here.
it's difficult for me to argue if you're disinterested in us-- but if that's just the excuse, then reconsider and stay with us....
besides, if you don't think you're a good role model, maybe you have some unfinished business here-- becoming one before you go!

I never really saw the purpose in staying around recently, progressively over the course of the past two or so years, I have just lost interest. I don't really agree with what goes on in terms of the site anymore, and do not wish to associate myself with it. I really do love most of you, and will miss you somewhere along the lines, but the truth of the matter is... I just don't have the time or care for runevillage that I used to have.
As some users are aware, I only remained at this site because I wanted to keep in contact with them, since I have contact with most of them, it's the final thumbs-up for me to depart.
I've been here for almost half a decade as is, and I wont ever forget the time I've spent here.
Besides, I am pretty sure the site will be what it should be, if not better, without a bad user like me around.
Veterans at RuneVillage are supposed to be role models for newer users, I, however, am not a role model. No point in continuing with a bad image that I already present.
I'd list names, but I'd leave someone out and ultimately hurt their feelings.
Besides, the special people know who they are. <3
