Lucky, damn. I had to give up seeing Journey earlier this year for Rush (well worth it though). I actually wore my Journey shirt today. I've realized that if you wear a Journey or a Boston shirt, you get a lot of compliments from middle aged women, it's kind of strange.

I dont really go for the reunion gigs, especially if they are missing key components of the original group. Its just not the same in my eyes. But of course us poor children who missed out on the golden era of rock and roll have no alternative, oh well. Glad you enjoyed it.

That's awesome! I'd love to see Journey in concert! I hate Heart though, their voices are the most annoying sounds ever.

They plaaayed, California Man, Surrender, Dream Police, I Want You to Want Me, and the "That 70's Show" theme song. They played some slow song, just can't remember what it was.

Oh, and Nielsen had some of the coolest guitars ever... There was a square, some red race car looking thing, and then the coolest one, the five-necked one. That was awesome.

Journey are alright, but Cheap Trick is awesome. What songs did they play? Dream Police, Surrender, Heaven Tonight?

My second concert ever (First being Queen <3). Cheap Trick played first, then Heart played a bunch, and then JOURNEY came out and blew us all away. It was cool how Cheap Trick still has all the original band members (including Tom Petersson, inventor of the 12 string bass). And the Wilson sisters (Heart's lead vocalists) still sounded amazing, even after 30+ years of performing. Journey though, topped them all. Whew, that was incredible. Arnel Pineda, their new lead singer did an awesome job. He sounded exactly like Steve Perry, so that wasn't a problem. It was just kinda funny watching him run around on stage next to all the older members.

It's too bad though, I've seen two of my favorite bands without their original lead singers. Not that I had a problem with that though, both of the replacements (Paul Rodgers and Arnel Pineda) did great.

It was soo much fun. I'm so very glad they came near me so I could go see them. 'Twas a very good concert.
