In rock, I think the 2000s will be remembered for their redundancy. Over and over songs had the same subjects: love and heartbreak. You can only take so much of the same thing, you know?
That's why I've started getting into other bands like System of a Down, Lost Prophets, etc.The fifties were more fixated on that than we can ever be.
