That's because aliens turn George Lucas on.

They make one animated movie to show people that it's a proper continuation of the series and drum up interest, then go even cheaper with a TV series. And who said Lucas was trying to cash in on his past successes?

...the humans can make stuff fly with their hands!

:D

Look, there's no way you can convince me Star Wars is in any way realistic. The presence of humans doesn't count. But I'm as biased against Star Wars as Tahu is against anything non-Nintendo. I don't like Star Wars, you do. And I don't think anything is really going to change our opinions. So I was hoping to just leave quietly after making my my opinion known. That is the point of these topics, isn't it? Because if I didn't leave then I'd get into a never-ending argument with die-hard Star Wars fans, of which there are obviously more of than there are of me. So...that's all. I hope.

Oh, I didn't realize. I thought this was the internets where you could quietly disappear after making some unexpected comment.

And it's because of lightsabers. They're swords made out of laser beams.

Also, "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away" is an oxymoron when you consider the movie's subject matter.

I like a tiny bit of realism in my movies, at the very least. Star Wars always crossed the line TBH.

You ever think maybe the civilization of mankind decayed over time, after the Star Wars story, bringing an end to intelligent races and robots and stuff like that, and we are now starting to rebuild our civilization? Or maybe its a story being told in the future? We never really figured out WHO the narrator of Star Wars is. There is a tiny bit of realism in EVERYTHING. Notice how there are Humans in Star Wars? Oh look at that, Humans in real life too.

Exactly, Andrey. I've you saw the movies then yes, I would understand your opinion. And the Star Wars franchise has been going pretty well, George Lucas is the best film maker other than the horror movie directors, like the King Person. And, dude, face it. He's racking in cash with the movie and the series. So, they aren't that bad. They've been good since the late 80's and through the 90's and into the 2000's. So most people around the world, like these movies. And I think they will like an animated one and a series. Except, that if they make a series, they have to make it like, action packed and not put it on Cartoon Network. An applause to you, Andrey. For being a Star Wars critic. =D>

If I'm not mistaken, Lucas wants the series put on something like TNT, not a kids channel, so he can make it more violent then Cartoon Network would allow.

I like Star Wars, so I'll end up seeing it. But I don't want it, I want Episodes 7, 8, and 9 much, much more. Much more. Bring back Mark Hamill, even though I know he doesn't make movies anymore. Stupid corvette accident.
