Nope, no need for snow. Trust me, they did a snowmobile backflip here in Perth without snow ;)

They use some kind of floor that has holes in it so the snowmobile can gain traction.

^That is the perfect opertunity for him to go further. Obviously I am hoping Seth Enslow can reclaim it one last time. I mean you look at what Evel Knievel did and what kind of machinary he did it on. You then look at Seth attempting the record and flatlanding at the bottom of the jump only to cut up his face and just miss holding on (the video on the link.)That was 8 years ago now, back when it was even more dangerous than now. The technology in the modern bikes is just nuts. That and the landing ramps these days have just so much more dirt on them.

Either way, he wants to break 400ft. That's just nuts.

Wasn't the old record 310ft? Someone had already done it.

He wanted 360ft but the wind was just blowing too hard.

277.5 ft. Someone claimed to have broken the 300ft barrier how ever it was never confirmed and I have never even seen footage of it. Sounds like a good story to me :-s

Unless I missed something.

Also that video of Evel is insane, he just keeps rolling... o_O

That made me cringe like crazy.

Tumbling and breaking and pain.

Wow.

Apparently he went even farther
during his practice runs.

That's what his wife said in the video.

That's good, but 322 feet is only about 98 metres.. he needs to break 100 metres! Australians don't use the Imperial system. D:

I has video to explain more:

It has taken them a long time to do it but finally some one has broken the 300 ft barrier.

Oh yeah, just for histories sake, here is Evel Knievel attempting to jump the fountains at Ceasars Palace decades ago:

RIP Evel Knievel

How times have changed eh? Can't wait to see if he can beat his own record at the Crusty Demons Night of World Records in March. Personally I hope Seth Enslow can take the record back.

Made the videos work. ~Tweedy
