I love the interesting characters and the way anyone (apart from J,K,S) could suddenly die. (although I have the strange feeling sawyer is now expendable.
They're both good just Heroes takes alot less intelligence to unerstand. "Oh thats the guy who can walk through walls and went to jail for a crime his wifes alter ego did and him and his wife are planted together by an evil dude" is about as confusing as it gets. When compared to the mysteries of lost it is alot less intriguing. However Heroes does have a good storyline, idea and i'm a sucker for superpowers so its good too, but I just find LOST alot more interesting.
(please note i'm not saying you'e un intelligent as I watch it too)
