Really naruto sucks little americans ^_^ most, well almost EVERY americanized anime sucks. Even if Azumanga Daioh was americanized with voice dubs; it wasnt cartoon-networerized XD so it still has all it's quality if you're watching the english versions..
but things that are bad about naturo.
-No; they arent REAL ninja's. where's the stealth? where's the kunai's? wheres the god damned black/dark clothing?!
-they must be idiots
i mean. wearing an orange running suit. orange running suit. my god; ive never heard of such a bad idea.. well besides the automated ear removal devices. (AERD)-No one really likes it.. it uses subliminal messages.. just like i-.. andrey does.. o.o
First of all, ninjas were assassins who lived by the blade, they never had to be stealthy.
And second of all, Naruto is based in a world where ninjas are the main policing force, so obviously things are a little different when reffering to the term ninja in the show. I think they kept the name ninja, because they use chakra and most ninja tools.
And if the dubbed Naruto doesn't end up like One Piece, I'm happy.

Not all ninjas have to be black and dark clothing. That's just the image we see because that's the way they are in the media. And they do use kunais, and stealth. AND THE ORANGE SUIT IS ONE GUY, WHY DOES EVERYONE PICK ON THE ORANGE SUIT?! Everytime I ask someone if they've watched Naruto they always say something like, "Oh you mean the stupid kid with the orange jumpsuit?" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, JESUS

I've taken the liberty of adding a little summary of the main characters in this anime. Maybe then you non Naruto fans will like it.
This is Naruto, yes yes we all know, the kid in the orange jumpsuit. He had a demon fox sealed into him at birth so at times he can become very, very powerful. His dream is to become Hokage (the strongest ninja in Konoha). He likes Sakura, another member in his team, and his rival is Sasuke. His theme in this story is probably to get acknowledgment and to help others see the light e.g. Gaara and Neji.
Second member of Team 7, Uchiha Sasuke. He's very calm and cool and comes from the genius ninja clan, Uchiha, that's why he has those red eyes called the Sharingan. He's very skilled and Naruto is jealous of him because Sakura likes, no, loves, him. His theme in this anime is to become as strong as possible so he can kill his older brother Itachi, who killed his whole clan.
This is Sakura, not very special. She likes Sasuke a lot..but she's probably the weakest in the group. But she's also the smartest.
This is KAKASHI the leader of Team 7 (also teacher). He's very cool and has a Sharingan (although he's not in the clan he got in from his friend in a surgery). He's probably my favorite character in the entire series. You never get to see his face though
Oh, and just for fun, here's Itachi.
