Idea 11: Different Cooking Styles/Types

Meat (especially fish) can only be cooked one way in Runescape.

I'd like to be able to grill, pan sear, roast, boil, and fry meat.

Each type of cooking would be the same level, but would require different tools to use.

Grilling:

Surface: Range/Sulphur Vent

You need a Grilling Pan to grill food.

Pan Searing:

Surface: Range

Roasting:

Surface: Spit

When roasting food, the amount of HP it heals is increased by 1, but it is more likely to burn food.

Boiling:

Surface: Range (You need a Pot of Water)

Boiling food takes longer, but is less likely to burn.

Frying:

Surface: range

Frying food is the most likely to burn, but in addition, the food restores 5% of your energy.

Idea 12: Soup!

There is currently NO soup in runescape, so I'd like to add some.

Soup can be made by using a Bowl of Water on a Range to get Boiling Water.

Then, simply add the desired ingredients.

Idea 14: New Teas!

White Tea Leaves: 30 farming: plant in a Herb Patch.

Each stew gives 20 herblore exp, and 40 cooking exp (for adding the herb.)

Of course, these effects only last 45 seconds.

Idea 19: TURKEYS!

Chickens are boring, it's a fact. I think that Turkey would be a nice addition.

Turkeys can be found in woodland areas.
They are level 3.
100% drop: Bones, Raw Turkey, 15-30 feathers.
Turkey requires level 15 to cook. It heals 4 and gives 80xp.

Well, not much to say more about turkeys.

Idea 20: Sausages.

Sausages are made by using a certain type of meat with a Sausage Grinder.

Beef = Sausage
Jubbly = Jubbly Sausage

To make a sausage requires 15 Cooking.

Level 20: Smoked Sausage: Cook twice on a range. Heals 4.
Level 30: Sausage Links: Use a Knife on a Smoked Sausage. IT will have 3 bites. Heals 3 per bite.
Level 40: Stuffed Sausage: Use Bread Crumbs and Lettuce on a Smoked Sausage. 2 Bites. Heals 5 per bite.
Level 50: Summer Sausage: Use Garlic and Salt with a Smoked Sausage. 2 Bites. Heals 7 per bite.

Idea 21: Seasoning.

Yes, I already have spices, but what about seasoning your food for that extra taste?

Level 55: Lemon Juice Seasoning
Level 58: Mint Leaf Grind
Level 62: Dried Herb Seasoning
Level 65: Lemongrass

Mint can be farmed at level 31 farming.
Lemongrass can be farmed at level 42 farming.

Use the raw ingredient (Lemon, Mint, Dried Herb, Lemongrass) with a Pestle and Mortar.
Use this with the desired food.

Lemon Juice: +1 attack
Mint Grind: +2 Strength
Dried Herb: +1 Ranged
Lemongrass: +1 Magic

Idea 22: Fish!

Fish really needs more possibilities than heat and eat.

Fish Fillet can be obtained by using a Knife on any Raw Fish. Will not work on Eel, Shrimp, Manta Rays, Turtles, and Caskets.

Fillets heal 1 less than the fish it came from, but there are more things you can do with fillets than just cooked fish. In addition, Fillets give 5-20 run energy to you.

Seasoning, Spices, Butter, and Potatoes are all things you can add to Fillets.

To add Seasoning, you need 5 cooking levels above the required level for that fish.
See the Seasoning section for details about seasoning.
See the Spiced Fish section for details about spices.
Butter can be added to any fillet to make it heal +2 more. In addition, butter-coated fillets will always give 15 % run energy back.
You can use a Baked Potato with any Fillet to make a [name of fish] Potato.

The Cooking level for using a Potato with any Fillet is 4 more than the level needed to cook the fish type.

Fish Potatoes will give you +15 run energy, and heal 3 more.

Idea 23: Kebabs!

You can only have 2 kinds of kebabs in Runescape, Uthgnaki and Plain.

More kebab types would be interesting.

Kebab (plain): Level 15, requires Kebab Shell and Meat (any kind). Heals 4, 60 xp.
Spicy Kebab: Level 30, Use Spice or a Spice Herb on a Kebab. Heals 5, 20 xp.
Veggie Kebab: Level 40, Use a Sweetcorn or Cabbage on a Kebab. Heals 6, 30 xp.
Fish Kebab: Level 50, Use a Tuna or Bass with a Kebab. Heals 8, 40 xp, temp. +1 to Fishing.

Kebab Shells can be bought at any food-store, or made using a Pastry Dough.

These types of kebabs can be bought from the Kebab Vendor in Al-kharid.

Kebab: 1gp, 200 in stock.
Spicy Kebab: 50gp, 50 in stock.
Veggie Kebab: 50gp, 50 in stock.
Fish Kebab: 300gp, 25 in stock.
