As much as I enjoy the idea of giving North Korea's secrecy a middle finger, this kind of goes a step too far. Openly revealing a hacking into one of the most touchy, volatile, and potentially destructive countries on the globe has a lot of potential to serve as a black mark on any (remotely) good political relations.
Well, did they ever say they were American hackers?
If NoKo takes this to mean the US did it, they're simply submitting that we're superior to their own technology.
They're not destructive. They're reclusive. What have they ever 'really' done since we told them to shut up and stay behind their borders?
It doesn't have to be American hackers alone.
If the hackers are primarily composed of people living in countries within the UN, that still runs the risk of "peaceful" countries being marked as allowing aggressive hacking tactics, if the spoiled piggy wants to see it as such.
Anyone who wants to call a nuclear warhead his own lifeblood is probably whiny, desperate, or insane enough to fit the bill.
They specifically mentioned AnonKorea first you guys.
