This is all just posturing to try to improve its position with the new SK leadership.
His father did the same crap to get aid from other countries. Toss some threats, get some cash/food, shut up a bit, rinse......repeat.
NK is no threat to the mainland US......or any well armed country really.

They're just too nonsensical for words. I am entirely certain that North Korea is quite literally just trying to start drama and gain attention. No one at all is taking them seriously, which is perhaps a mistake.
We're far more concerned with the goings-on in the Middle East. It just remains to be seen when the US will officially tell North Korea to knock it off. Again.
