The BFFL friendship with Ste drifted slightly once he got his girlfriend, he's still a best friend, but Jake is the new BFFL.
About a month after this capsule was written, me and Dawn broke up because I wanted a chance and I started dating a girl called Laura. But now I'm strung up over Dawn because I left it a week too long to tell her how I really felt.
Never met up with Jimmy because he's a jerk.
HTC Desire S was a good phone, plan on upgrading to the One X soon though.
I drive everywhere now, I'll occasionally go out on my bike if it's hot and I want to do some jumps though.

Message: 2011 has certainly been an interesting year thus far. The hiker thing being probably the strangest thing to happen. You certainly were disappointed with the BF3 Beta, and all the stupid changes they made to an already fantastic formula. Did you ever end up getting it and if so, how are you enjoying it? After cancelling your BF3 pre-order, you decided to pre-order Skyrim. How'd that turn out? The RV TF2 server still a thing? Did a rv mafia revive attempt happen, and was it successful? How's life? Any interesting developments on that front? Finally get a job?
I'm still disappointed with BF3, even though I've now purchased it. (well it was actually a friend paying you back) In fact, I now dislike DICE.

I thought I learned what stress was during that cardboard chair project. I was mistaken. It turned out to be one of the easier things I did all year. My chair ended up supporting 200 or so pounds, finally broke on the 20th person or so. Compared to the amount of work that went into the Spring Semester work, the chair was nothing. And in similar fashion, the work that went into the Spring stuff is nothing compared to the amount they expect from us now. Still, it's all for the best and in the end we will be better for it.

I understand why we didn't see it at the time, but Aaron is one of the flakiest people we know. Shortly after writing this I asked him about when we should start looking into housing options and sure enough there were issues. He claimed it was money, but we both know that's bogus. In December of last year he moved in with a friend back home for about a month and a half, talking to that friend revealed that he has home sick problems. So, in the end I can't really fault him, everyone gets homesick at some point I'm sure.
It all worked out though, moving into an apartment near campus with Scott and his girlfriend was a great choice...especially after the way Josh turned into an ass last year.

Yes we are, and I'll thank you to not talk about it as if it were an easy thing to fix. We had something this summer for awhile but it didn't end up working out. And now there isn't a whole lot of time to worry about relationship issues. If it happens it happens, oh well.

Old games interest...
Final Fantasy, I went on for a while but never beat the game with it. It was fun, sure, but revisiting the story was the best part of it.
Advance Wars hasn't ended its fun, but it's harder to find a map I WANT to play.
Runescape's pretty much lowest on the list for me these days.
PSO... Funny. I stopped playing after getting angry at the Mines' boss for being invincible against Raine shortly after that, but only recently came into contact with another PSO player while chatting. The urge is back.
Currently, though, I'm playing Pokemon Silver, Minecraft again, Team Fortress 2, Evony, and Brawl... though Brawl is fading.
Drawing has made a comeback, thankfully. At least doodling at work has. DeviantArt has become the norm for it, since Photobucket's upload process was nice and error filled. Writing is still... hit and miss.
DnD is nearly dead. Dan still doesn't know how to keep his free time for himself. Add school to that for our few active players... sigh.
James' plan caved in quite quickly. Sigh x2 combo.
Hah, edit. I remember that cleaning. Mr. Clean magic eraser truly is pretty damn useful!

1. Yup, I am still at the same job, doing the same old thing. I made it past three years, hooray! On the downside, I kind of loathe the job a bit more than last year.
2. Yes, I have made it to 75 by December! I got the level on Dec 14th, 2011. Well done!
3. Err yes, and no. Some of that is due to work though, which I guess is alright?
4. Not really, there are still some things to work out with that. Will try better this year I guess!
5. This one is pretty much a yes, with a few slip ups here are there, but I am doing a good job of this. The good thing is I had enough to buy a plane ticket, and now I will have a lot to spend when I get to England! Overall, the year has been pretty ok.

Is everyone still there? No. Justin announced his two weeks noticed the day after I wrote that, actually. Jim left a few months later, and Jing quite a while after that. But anyone new? Heck yeah. Surprising though it may be, we have *counts* 7 new people from last year. It's crazy! I'm like 5 out of 13 seniority-wise, but I guess 2+ years at the same job will do that.
