That's great. Missed the cost discussion, but how much less is it now?

Same here.... You never know.

I mean you guys could run ads to make up for server costs, right?
Our traffic these days is so low that anything we run wouldn't make up for anything. Luckily, having RV on the new poorshark domain means our server cost issues are handled from now on. :)

I wouldn't just pull the plug on RV like that. You would know well in advance if we ever shut down permanently.

That is fantastic news. I didn't think it would go down like that, but I can't say the crashes haven't made me go "ffffff".

The General Error thing just means one of the database tables is currently more-or-less locked up. I can fix it easily but I was at school the whole time it was down today. A few years ago we were getting General Errors incredibly bad and I made that flash video about it, haha. I'm still meaning to upload all those maybe this week for the fun of it...

As for the real "this is the end", RV's hosting runs out this month or next, but we're going to try to move it somewhere else so we don't need to pay astronomical hosting fees. For instance I (and Ventrue too) own a web site that I have no intention of getting rid of. It's a matter of "can we move RV to that easily and without breaking everything", haha.

What a relief :) Hoping the move works out smoothly

Very good news, indeed! The SQL error the other day had me a little worried as well. *Crossing my fingers for an easy transition!*
