It does have another use though: it shows you which posts you've already read (white) and which you haven't (orange).

I do like the suggestion though, Boa. I believe it's already done when searching, I can't imagine it's too hard to implement it into a topic. (But I may be wrong.)

Wow, that is a TINY button with no clear use unless you know what it's for already. Maybe I should change my suggestion to "make that button easier to find and figure out what it's for".
