As to the topic, I wholeheartedly agree, (this was a topic about two months ago). One of the highest ranking results on Google for 'RuneScape Fansite' is a YouTube video, and it certainly wouldn't hurt us to have one too. It could 'summarize' us, so to speak also.
But, I'd prefer to wait until RV2.0's release, it would be a shame to create a video of our current (lacking) features and then have to redo it with RV2.0's phenomenal features.
I'd also worry about who creates it, we want it to look very professional, no cheesy effects or anything in the like.
Hmm, @Donut; some of the points you make are valid, but some aren't..
We definitely need a video on Youtube to promote RuneVillage. But holding back because the site isn't perfect is no reason to produce a Video for YouTube. Thats like a company releasing a phone and not promoting it until the Updated and better version is released. I dont think it would be a shame to create a video about our lacking features - we just skip them

When a product is being promoted, it only promotes the good parts, not the "alright" parts or the "semi-acceptable" areas..
Why wait for perfection before advancement?
