Ninja'd ... Twice... Oh well, hear what I have to say:

Upick, rather than unpick.
But a upick is a game of mafia where all of the players get to pick(to a degree) their own roles. Rather that having the typical game setup of only 1 doctor and 1 detective.

Have you played mafia before?

Also, the 'rises' part of the title is just tops way of saying we are bringing it back. Cause it has been a while since we have played a upick version of mafia.

Upick is a variant of the Mafia game as created by Topsummoner. Instead of conventional roles (Doctor, Detective, Godfather), everybody chooses a role name. It can be practically anything. The host then goes out, does a little research on specific names if need be, and assigns a role suited to the name provided to the players.
