As the Inventor was destroying transports, Klinkin noticed that the heavier armor was keeping some occupants alive through the crash. He'd fix that. Spinning in place, the Inventor placed shot after shot into the hulls of the crashed transports until they exploded, save the one where two humans were fighting some berserkers. Then, as a precaution, he started pounding the remains of the tank until that was vaporized as well, killing any surviving occupants.

When Albert realized that the boulder was pretty much gone, he bolted for cover behind a piece of wall that was still standing. He watched as the mech shredded three transports and knocked two others out of the sky. As it fell, Albert recognized the reinforced structure and odd coloration of one of the transports. “Berserker’s transport, crew of three, caries up to eight passengers.” he thought. “Hopefully, none of them will survive the crash”. Albert had only faced a Berserker once before, and that time he had just barely survived. When he watched four of then climb out of the wreckage, he instantly considered running. Then he noticed that the human who had rescued him from the aliens around the tank was rushing right at them. “He will get himself killed! Those things wear energy shield generators that protect them from most energy weapons, and their hide will stop most projectiles.” Albert thought as he slung his staff onto his pack and pulled out both plasma pistols. He saw that the human had killed one of the aliens, but the rest were circling around him. Quietly, Albert ran toward them, flipping the switch on the back of his right plasma pistol that allowed him to overcharge it. When he was twenty feet away, he fired both pistols at the nearest Berserker. The overpowered shot temporarily drained its energy shield, and three shots from the other pistol killed it.

Mikelle looked up as the explosion from the tank died down. Looking to his right, he saw that the boulder he was using for cover didn't exist anymore. Roadie running his way towards a destroyed Humvee around 30 meters away, diving into the open rear, covering his head as shrapnel from the destroyed transports began to fall around him. He crawled deeper into the Humvee, falling into the lap of the rotting driver. Fixing himself upright, he began to search through the passenger officer, looking for anything that could be used. He pulled a sword from a sheath next to the officer and checked it over. Vibration sword, four hours of battery life left. Strange, I don't think I've ever seen one of these before though...how do I know that... Searching the body of the driver, he grabbed a single combat knuckle and snapped it onto his right glove automatically. Looking outside, he saw one of the transports crash land and half of the ship collapse into itself. Kicking the door open, Mikelle dragged himself out of the Humvee and crouched besides the door, looking as four aliens pull themselves out. Mikelle noticed something strange about them. They seem...different...no guns...Beserkers! Close combat specialists, only eight talons as weaponry. Something seems strangely familiar about them also, like I've seen them...talked to them or something...I can't tell...I just can't remember... He studied them, noticing that they stood around 2.5 meters tall, acted a lot like Raptors, with four talons to a hand, long tail whipping around. Mikelle gripped the vibration sword in his left hand, slinging his AK-47 across his back, pulling out his laspistol and, after insuring the combat knuckle was attached securely to his hand and that the vibration sword was on and running, ran towards the aliens, swinging his sword at the closest alien, catching it on the side as it jumped and curved towards him, as Mikelle shot it in the stomach, forcing it to stumble. Mikelle lunged forward, driving the sword straight into it's chest, punching it in the face. Pulling out the sword, he took aim and shot it in the right eye, killing it. He turned his attention towards the other three circling around him and prepared to fight them.

OOC: Yes, if the sword is around 11 feet long. Remember that the Inventor stands ten feet tall (if you're confused, when I say Klinkin, that's the human, while the Inventor refers to the mech he's driving).

“Ouch” Albert said, shaking his head in a futile attempt to make his ears stop ringing. “I hope I didn’t permanently damage my hearing, but I had to blow it up that way. Those things have a quantum reactor that is virtually impossible to overload” He looked around quickly. Most of the aliens around the tank had been killed in the explosion, and the tank’s turret was flying through the air at an odd angle. It crashed back to the ground, smashing a group of aliens that had been trying to set up a portable plasma turret.
Albert noticed a strange, muffled whine. Quickly looking up, Albert noticed ten rather large birds flying overhead. Instantly, he realized that they weren’t birds – but alien long-range transports. “Particularly fierce machines, capable of carrying a maximum of fifteen aliens. They also carry two plasma turrets and a plasma cannon.” he thought. The lead transport made a slight turn and entered it’s landing sequence, deactivating its ion jets, retracting its wings, and turning on its anti-gravs.

The aliens toasted, the Inventor went on seeking more alien prey. That wouldn't be any problem. However, he should stay away from that tank. It looked like it was going to fire...
BOOM! With a huge fireball, the tank exploded. The top of it went flying off into the sky as the bottom...well, the bottom had been completely destroyed. Stupid idiot fed the main gun into the antigrav coils. Why didn't he just set a reactor overload? Destroys the tank easier and with much less mess.

Klinkin wasn't sure what the guy had done to the tank, but he had to guess it would make it explode, and soon. Seeing the red-haired person in trouble, the Inventor landed over him, spinning like a top and unleashing a roaring inferno from the plasma flamers.

“Thank you.” Albert said, standing up and instantly realizing that the boulder didn’t provide adequate cover when he stood up. He ducked back down and pulled out both his plasma pistols. He was finishing off the seven injured aliens when he noticed that the tank was moving toward the ground slightly. “Power from the anti-gravs is being redirected, probably to power the main weapon system” he thought. The tank’s barrel began to glow orange as its control fields powered up. “It’s beginning it’s firing sequence! It’s going to explode!” Albert yelled, putting his hands over his ears and moving closer to the boulder.

Quickly Hansarvin realized that he was surrounded by aliens he looked for a way out but saw none. He would have to make a way out. He fired two blasts into the horde of aliens and saw his path and sprinted out of the horde that was quickly attempting to circle him. He was almost to the abandoned building where he was hiding the night before, when he tripped and as he slowly turned around he noticed that his leg was bleeding profusely. With aliens quickly coming towards him he attempted to crawl to the building but realized it would do him no good. He pulled out his pistol and started to pick off aliens as they advanced towards him and hoped someone would help him before he was overtaken...

Mikelle scanned the area, picking up sights of combat approximately 2 klicks away. Looks to be commotion near, should check it out. Don't know why I want to, though...something's just drawing me towards it. I think I see other humans up there. Checking his ammunition, loading his grenade attachment, he began to jog towards the other fighting, jumping down a short stairway, grabbing the rail with a gloved hand to turn sharply to the left, firing six shots, killing four alien infanty. He slid behind a boulder, letting go of the rail, rolling towards the far end, near the tank. Looking, he saw a human fall out of the tank doorway. IIE-7458, Project Stargate. What is that... Without thinking, Mikelled dropped his AK-47, grabbed his laspistol and, after taking a shot within an inch of the drivers head, ran forward crouching to grab the human falling and dragged him back towards the boulder where his rifle was, shooting two aliens in the head, killing them instantly. Placing the human down, he holstered his laspistol and picked up his AK-47, aiming and firing the grenade towards a squad of 10 aliens, killing three and injuring the rest.

It didn’t take Albert long to wire the storage capacitor for the ion mortar into the power wire for the anti-gravs. He quickly removed the two fuses protecting the anti-gravs and replaced them with pieces of wire. When the driver (who was hopefully under the impression that his tank was still functional) fired the ion mortar, it would cause the anti-gravs to explode, destroying the tank. Albert quietly jumped out the door, but his foot caught on the rim and he fell out the doorway.

Klinkin was surprised to see another human had joined in the fight. Another possibly suicidal one, given that his hair was the best beacon available in this drab wasteland. Add to that he didn't seem to notice the aliens behind him. The Inventor picked those off in between strafing runs.

Bio: He was born right before the alien attack, and was only 3 when the aliens landed. When his mother got word of this she hid him and his 13 year old sister in an old warehouse. Raised by his sister they lived off the streets and soon joined a group of resistance fighters where he was school mentally and physically. Here he learned how to fight and live alone. When he was only 14 the resistance group was infiltrated by the aliens and everyone but him was killed including his sister. Now his one goal in life is to kill aliens no matter what.

BIC: Hansarvin was awoken by the sound of plasma rifle fire. He quickly leaped to his feet and in minutes had everything packed and ready to move. He stealthily crept around an outcrop of burning buildings to see what or who was firing. When he got there he saw a large man charging at a tank by himself, "That man is insane", Hansarvin pondered. In the distance he also saw Mechs firing at the aliens horde that surrounded the tank. Quickly Hansarvin pulled out his plasma pistol and started picking off aliens one by one...

With an explosion of sound, the tank door came free, leaving its hinges attached to the tank. Albert pitched the door over his shoulder, where it clobbered one of the aliens. Albert could see at least a dozen aliens standing in the tank, pointing plasma pistols at him. They all fired, but the plasma bursts passed through empty air. Albert quickly got back on his feet and jumped up on the tank, landing beside the doorway. When one of the aliens stuck its head out the doorway to see what was going on, Albert hit it with his staff, killing it and knocking it backwards, giving him a chance to safely stick his head in the door and use his fire breath to incinerate every one of the aliens inside the tank. Climbing through the hatchway, he quickly found the panel that controlled the anti-gravs and started rewiring it.

Quickly thinking, Nave decide to at least follow this "thing". Large explosions could be seen up ahead. "Thats where the tanks must be", Nave thought. Nave quickly began looking for anything that could be a weapon. With nothing of good use, he began searching destroyed buildings around him. Nave luckily came across two smalle pistol looking weapons within a vault in a destroyed armory. Nave determined they broken and started fiddling with them.
