The Runescape Revolution

Chapter 1 – Intro -
As soon as the Runescape Lands were discovered, more people settled there. There were many things trying to be invented. But one was by Dr. Zam, and he invented witchcraft in Runescape. Once his inventions were made, his wife was a Tester. Their goal was to teleport to a town discovered by Sherry Varrock. They set five main portals in the center of this town. But when they tried this spell, the wife ended up somewhere else, and this was strange. Could she have died or been teleported to another town? But it wasn’t that she had died. She had just landed in a cave with lots of traps in it. She was never heard of again. But soon this invention was fixed; this teleportation landed somewhere else. But Dr. Zam didn’t want to do this, so he fixed it and he told people, and he became a god, with the nickname Zammorack. When the Runescape day came for the competition of the inventions, there was one other person who had invented prayer powers/abilities and had found lands.

Chapter 2 – The Conflict -
These two men came and met. Dr. Zam was skinny, tall, a little bit dark and had a long beard. His opponent was muscular, tall, and looked like a white man. Both men came to the stage and competed. Dr. Zam came and whooped out what are now known as “magic runes”, and the other man took out bones (there was a slight chance that he had invented Crossbows) and everyone started to laugh at him. But as soon as he took them out, he levitated from the floor, and got a green glow around him. Everyone stopped and got scared. No one knew what was going to happen in this competition. The announcer came in and said, “Good Afternoon, ladies and you men! Today’s special. It’s the special Tee’s of these two gods named Zam and Guth.” (Everyone looked surprised and said, “He’s a god?” And they all laughed). “They will be battling against each other!” So everyone got together and these so-called gods made their first moves. Zam got some pebbles the size of a squished grape. He rubbed five of those pebbles (that are known as runes now) and they had little symbols. One looked like fire, three looked like air and one looked like a death sign. He rubbed them and threw them at Guth and there was a big explosion. Guth levitated, and took out an anti-Magic symbol on his head. Everyone was surprised with his comeback. As soon as his comeback came out and Zam threw some more spells at him, these spells were to hit harder. But since Guth had anti-Magic, it only hit a little bit. Guth took out a crossbow and he shot some wolf bolts at Zam. Zam was really affected and almost fell. Zam was very nervous so he took out some of what he called ‘Blood Runes’, around five air runes and one fire rune. He threw them back at Guth, and it really affected Guth even with his anti-magic prayer. But Guth had got more strength and defence, hit Zam with one bolt and Zam fell, and he had lost the battle. The battle was short but it put everyone on the edge of their seats, and at the end of the battle, half of the crowd went to Guth’s side and re-named him Guthix. Guthix accepted and promised his people that he would get better ranging tools and prayer so he did…

Chapter 3 – The Promises -
Guthix went to the Falador and found a large crowd there. It looked like he had more followers. Zam was in Varrock and he also saw he had more people on his side. Both of these men were not nice to each other. When they met they fought in what is called The Wilderness now. They each had their times to win but since these two gods were fighting, they cursed the land where they fought, and it landed as fifty-seven feet long. These lands are now cursed and unsafe to the people who step into them; they may get attacked or killed in those lands. But one night everyone didn’t know where Guthix or Zam were. When the two crowds came together, they noticed that those two gods weren’t anywhere to be found. So the people of Runescape came together and decided that there should be new rules and laws to Runescape. Well, when Guthix and Zam finally came back they found the biggest crowd ever. They had just found out that they wanted a person to take over the whole Runescape world, but that wasn’t possible for a human “god”. The people waited and waited until it was morning. The two men came out and said their speeches, but they were not good. Zam promised better weapons and much better food. Guthix promised magic spells and ranging tools would be released. When the people heard this they went wild. They went to each side and voted on the best speech, and they came up with a tie again. Everyone except a boy voted; he was too obsessed about killing things that he didn’t care. People wanted him to vote but he kept on saying “No!”. No one could get him to vote so they locked this boy up in a jail. There, this boy found more stuff to fight with, so he liked it there, and went on with life there. After ten years no one ever went to this jail and so the boy told the people to let him go. This guy was named Sar. They let him free but he had to vote. But he didn’t. He got away and hid in a cave. Everyone was mad and wanted to kill this boy but they had lost him and never found him again.

Chapter 4 – Promised -
Just because the boy was lost, the people were mad, so mad that they made Guthix and Zam do more elections and it was still a tie. People didn’t like what they were seeing so they made a Runescape revolution. The people got Guthix’s and Zam’s promise of new tools and went on with life. Guthix’s followers only used Guthix’s tools and Zam’s followers only used Zam’s tools. But ever since, these two men have got together and fought. One night, everyone was asking themselves “Where the heck are these two men?” So they searched and searched until they found them both in the wilderness fighting. Everyone ran back to their homes.

Chapter 5 – The War -
As they got home they ran to their storage bins and got the new weapons that Guthix and Zam had promised. They got them and ran back to the wilderness and fought with all their might. There were punches and kicks being thrown everywhere. There were good battles till death. There were people spitting at each other. There were children fighting just because they felt like it. There were women fighting with other women, and there were men fighting with other people’s dogs and cats. This was one huge battle and no one thought it could be won. So they went on. Guthix’s team started to use their anti-magic prayer abilities against the Zam team. The Zam team threw magic spells and Guthix’s team started to use low magic spells, and some used range tools, such as bows, arrows, throwing knives, bolts, cross bows, etc. Once the battle had started, no one stopped fighting because of their differences. Most of the people didn’t stop until it was done, but the war continued for several days, and many people died, including children aged four and more. The spells didn’t end until there were no more runes. But many people found a way to make them. So they did, and came back with more then five hundred thousand in their pockets and they divided them with the finest wizards and witches in the battle. The war went on and on and it almost seemed like it was forever. But when the two gods met, they used their special Tee’s and weakened each other very fast. Everyone stopped and tried to help these two, but they couldn’t, because there were people protecting the two gods. So the war was even harder and tougher to win. The two teams battled more than ever. But it was soon to be done. The two gods came and did their special attacks and knocked each other down off their feet. They each went to a bar in Varrock for a while and as soon as night hit the day, they both died. Zam got a red glow around him, and Guthix got a green glow around him and flew up to the sky and disappeared. No one knows where these two men went, but the people sure knew that they were watching over and guiding them.

Chapter 6 – what now? -
As soon as this happened, everyone was speaking about it and the boy who was in jail for ten years also heard and came out. He then lived in the city with other people, but people remembered who he was. They asked him and he denied it. Then he ran to a nearby house and hid there. Then people started to look for him and couldn’t find him. As soon as he hid, he found many of Zam’s and Guthix’s journals of their new inventions. He read them and made those journals his own and took all the new inventions somewhere: magic spells, hats, masks, predictions that would now come true because Guthix and Zam are now real Runescape gods. He told the public that he had made new inventions, so the people were happy and made Sar a new god. But now Guthix and Zam finally joined forces together and…
