The Tournament Chronicles

Episode One: The Capture

It was the third day of fall, and there were ten vacancies at the Round Table. Arthur needed one tactical warfare advisor, three knights who can make unique weapons for battle, and six of the most elite knights.

To recruit the right men a tournament was held a few miles south of Camelot near the village of Homonie. Knights, blacksmiths, geniuses, and leaders came from faraway lands such as France, Spain, the Holy Roman Empire, and some Germanic areas to watch and participate in the tournament.

Arthur and his knights were to judge the tournament according to bravery, strength, and intelligence. Once the competitors arrived, they were sorted into their groups.

The Elite Warrior group went first; most of them were fierce competitors but only a few had what it took to become a knight of the Round Table. After days of bloody dueling only seven had shown what it took. Arthur only needed six so he had to pick one to leave. He didn’t know which one to pick because they were all such great knights.

Arthur thought of many different tasks that the two weaker knights could do. “Dragon slaying was too easy.” Arthur thought, “If Shrek and Donkey could do it couldn’t be too difficult. Saving damsels in distress was for rookies. The only real challenge for them was to capture the infamous criminals Addam Insein and Osama been Farten.” Arthur knew it would be very hard, so he let both knights bring two knights from the round table and ten runner-up knights of Arthur’s choosing. The two knights, Sir Crist?bal and Sir Brom, were then each assigned to their teams.

The handsome knight was Sir Crist?bal of Spain. He had been a member of the fine fantastic fighting five of Spain and Portugal. Sir Crist?bal was paired up with Sir Lancelot and Sir Terren of the round table. He also got 10 of the twenty finest runner-ups for his expeditionary team.

The ugly knight was Sir Brom of a small area inside of Germany called Nazieland. Sir Brom was paired up with Sir Mikhavel and Sir Brock of the round table. He received what was left of the finest runner-ups.
Arthur assigned Sir Crist?bal to capture Addam Insein. Sir Brom was assigned to find Osama been Farten. Both knights were surprised at the difficulty of the task. Both knew that no one had captured them for a long time. Sir Crist?bal thought to look for him in France. Sir Brom thought to look in the Austrian Alps for Osama.

They both set out on boats to search. When Sir Crist?bal arrived, he immediately started searching for Addam. After months of tiring searching, he saw a small house in the clearing of the forest. The knights rode toward it in suspicion. Once they got there, they knocked down the door and heard a scream. They saw it was coming from a French man that Lancelot recognized as Jacque Luvsirac, the leader of France. He was sitting in a red chair with a Beret and a thin greasy moustache.

Sir Crist?bal then asked Jacque what he was doing in this cottage.
Jacque replied, “This is my fall vacationing home.”
“Liar,” said one of the runner-ups. “It’s spring stupid.”
“Yeah and why does it say ‘Welcome to the Home of Millie Burnhart’ on the doorstep?” piped a different knight.
Sir Terren told Jacque to let them search the house. Jacque accepted angrily. Sir Terren quietly ordered one of the knights to guard Jacque.

Sir Lancelot told all of the knights to start in the attic. They all trudged to the attic and started searching. Sir Crist?bal smelled something then he went to the cabinet it came from and opened it up. A body of a dead blonde lady, who was thought to be Millie, fell out. The knights screamed and ran downstairs to look. They found nothing downstairs so they went in the basement.
In the basement they saw Addam Insein crying.

He whimpered, “I surrender!”

Sir Crist?bal went to tie his arms up. When he was almost halfway finished, Addam kicked his leg back into his groin. Sir Crist?bal winced for a few seconds, but by that time Addam had spun around and got untied.
Addam yelled, “Everybody loves Kung-Fu Fighttiing. Those cats were fast as lightning. HIYAA!”
Sir Crist?bal pulled out his sword and poked Addam’s finger. When Addam saw the drop of blood he started crying.

The knights all jumped and tackled him to the ground. It took only a minute to tie him up. It would have taken longer except Sir Terren thought to twist Insein’s neck to knock him out. The knights picked him up and brought him upstairs.
Upstairs, Jacque Luvsirac was painting a picture. Lancelot walked over and knocked his easel down. He saw that it was a picture of his knights itching their heads, acting stupid, and Jacque laughing at them.
Jacque adjusted his beret and started swearing at the knights in French.
Sir Crist?bal then went up to Jacque with a fiery stick from the fireplace and lit his greasy moustache on fire.

That was it for Jacque. He lost control. He slapped Crist?bal and spit on him. The knights tried to apprehend him but when they got close he would bite the knights. Within five minutes, a runner-up jumped from behind him, tackled him, and put a knife to his throat
“If you don’t let me go,” Jacque threatened. “My bodyguards Unito and Nationys will get you!”
Some of the knights laughed because they knew these ‘bodyguards’ would only make them talk through their problems, but Terren said to let him go. They listened to Terren’s advice, but cut his beret as they got up.
The knights then began to leave to go back to England.
