Hello Frogger! Thank you for taking the time to let me interview you!
Hey Jack! I'm currently taking prep in school for hour state test called the
MCAS. So I'm quite busy with a lot of things at the moment but anything for my JackStick.
The Toolkit has certainly come a long way since it was first thought up, what do you think about the future of the toolkit?
Ha. The future toolkit will blow everyone out of the water. As you see when the beta comes out it will be simple... but once we get like 2.0 and 3.0 out with more talented coders... I think it will be a great
success and achievement to RuneVillage.
Do you like your job in the toolkit?
Why wouldn't I? It's kind of weird how I got it actually... I was the only one that made up skill totals and exp for the calculators... It the the biggest this that hit the toolkit forum after 2 weeks of us starting it, and if most people don't know I didn't start out being supervisor, it happened about a month after we started. You can consider me head of research and mogomongoose head of coding.
Do you feel at anytime obligated?
I did when it was in the alpha stage, but now that we have delays I'm taking the advantage to do tasks on my own time.
Currently, the support team consists of: Mogomongoose, Frogger, Jackstick, Wit, and Sirangetta. Do you think the toolkit will need anymore support users in the future? Why or why not?
We might or might not... we might or might not get rid of some people to open it up to more people... The options are out there and everyone who is thinking about helping should take this advantage.
Do you have anything else in mind to add into the toolkit that hasn't been mentioned?
I would say... but it's really all a surprise to the villagers and even you Jackstick.
Excluding the Support Staff Team, who do you think did the most work? Or do you think everyone worked equally?
Of course Mogomongoose! He's a great guy with a busy life. If someone should take all the credit he should be the one. He's a great friend and if you don't know him you should.
What was your strong spot in the toolkit? (e.g-coding, design, research, etc)
Research and design. I came on as a coder but my VB died and I was left with nothing. I talked to mogomongoose and I thought I would be kicked... a week later I became Asst. Leader. Figure that.
Do you think the toolkit will need more recruits in the near future?
Yes. We are always looking for coders. If you know anyone or you are a coder you can PM Frogger or mogomongoose on the forums to get access into our toolkit forum.
