Armour Trimming Finally Denounced


On 21st April 2005, Jagex finally made an announcement regarding the Armour Trimming scams. It states categorically that no one in the game can trim armor or enhance trimmed amour. There are also details of what armors there are and their origins.
What is surprising is that this announcement is in the Customer Support News. Given the widespread misuse of this scam, it was hoped that the announcement would be in the General Category.
At least now when confronting players who try this, it is possible to direct would be victims to this announcement and prevent more loss and heartache.

On 7th April 2005, the super kebabs were withdrawn from non members and were due to be made non tradeable at the next update.
