Clan Recap

With all the clans existing right now, sometimes it gets a little difficult to keep track of all of them… especially the biggest, because all of them have bad rumors and the like hanging on them. With the end of school rearing its very pretty head, the clan world of Runescape is revving up its engines to make the whole summer season just one long and continuous war. This is your pre-summer clan recap for anything you might have missed or need clearing up on.

The Top 5:

The best part about the top five is that it’s actually possible to track the clans in them. Right now, everyone seems to have a firm grip on their positions, but that doesn’t mean the list isn’t changing. Expect a lot going on from all five.

1. Damage Inc.
2. Zeonic Force
3. Gladiatorz
4. The Dynasty
5. Blacknights

To clarify:

#1: As anyone updated on the clan world knows, Damage Inc. is strong and certainly isn’t going anywhere for a while. Zeonic Force challenged them and lost. While ZF proved DI to be cheating and demanded the war to be declared a tie, it never really happened. I would expect that if there was a fair rematch, Damage Inc would still have won.

#2: Up to just recently, the Gladiatorz have had a tight grip on the number two spot, having beaten Zeonic Force twice. However, after Zeonic’s war with DI, they challenged Gladz. Gladz declined and forfeited their spot, saying that they would still be back to take the #2 spot, and in time, the #1.

#3: Gladiatorz, as one of the clans in ‘The Alliance’, have been doing extremely well in the wilderness and in wars, but had to forfeit their position to ZF. Whether it was because their future war with The Dynasty and the declared war with ZF were too close, or Gladz simply didn’t think they were up to the challenge isn’t quite clear right now. Expect to hear a lot more from both Zeonic Force and Gladiatorz.

#4: The Dynasty is possibly the most active clan and best clan in mini wars for its size. At the date of writing this article, it will soon war Gladiatorz. While Gladz are expected to win, no one can be quite sure… The Dynasty is all about last minute surprises.

#5: The Blacknights, having recently decided to leave ‘The Alliance’, are still locked into their position. Losing their latest war against Zeonic Force, they are relatively quiet compared to the other top five with no recent victories under their belt.

Clans on the Rise:

Zeonic Force: While this clan isn’t exactly springing forth, it is still edging its way up the ladder. Declaring war on both DI and Gladz in such a short time as well as taking the number two spot, whether they actually achieve #1 or not, they won’t be falling down the ranks any time soon.

Rune Raiders: Recently, the Rune Raiders have gained much strength and war credit. Already they have defeated Clan Jaguars in an iron war, and Jaguar declined any wars with Rune Raiders in the near future.

Anarchy: They’ve been in the top 15-20 for a while, but finally this clan is getting known in the top 5-15, varying slightly everywhere. While its position isn’t locked quite yet, we can expect nothing but ‘up’ for Anarchy.

Dark Slayers: Coming out of thin air, Dark Slayers have stolen a victory from the Rune Raiders.

Clans on the Fall:

Devils: Because of issues with leadership, a great mass of Devil members left to make their own offspring clan, Your Days Are Numbered (YDAN). YDAN forums were then hacked and it fell apart, but the damage was done: after having a role in the top 3, Devils lost all touch with the top ten. Who knows where they are now?

The Empire: Don’t get me wrong, The Empire is still powerful…however, not nearly as much as what it once was. Going by the name of Empire of Honor (EoH), they had a great grip on #2 for a while, and then started slipping down the lists until finally they were out of sight.

Right now with all the wars and activity going down as it is, we can expect great things coming up this summer on Runescape. This is Igna with the end-of-school recap, and hopefully it was helpful or informative.
