It's me again. I'm new, fresh and an inexperienced recruit to the Runescape
game. I like walking around Runescape minding my own business and just
exploring the new world of Runescape and all the beautiful people that play
in this new found world of mine, each with their own style and flair in their clothing, hair, and ethnic
background. I'm looking at all the scenery in the towns as
I pass by There are many kinds of trees and flowers Life is peaceful. Runescape is good to me and I'm happy here.
I'm passing through one of the towns in my new found world of Runescape
and I come across someone that follows me and is obviously wanting to get
my attention. He is a level 23 player. He says to me, "Hey, want some
free items?" I'm in need, and, as such, I say, "I want some free items." He
tells me to follow him and I do. He takes me to a place that is scarcely visited.
We stop and he tells me "Here is what you do. Give me all your items and
I'll clone them and give them back to you." Tis sounded like a STEAL
OF A DEAL to me. I transferred my stuff to him. He logs out. I am standing there
waiting for my items to be cloned and I'm left alone. I did get one very valuable
thing back from him that sunny Reunescape day: experience.
The next day I see him on. I ask him, "Why did you do that to me?" He says,
"What are you talking about?" I tell him I was going to report him to Jagex. He
says, "You can't report me because I work For Jagex." I say, "Can I just have
my items back please"? He says, "What items are you talking about"? I get sick
of his scam talk and I told him I reported him for impersonating Jagex Staff. He
tells me he's going to ban me from Runescape now. He logs out. I am left dazed
and confused.
I signed on the next day and I wasn't banned. I WAS more experienced. I also
learned the true meaning of a STEAL OF A DEAL.
